Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and website. By booking an inspection or using our website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

2. Scope of Services

Altitude Inspections provides independent, non-invasive building inspection services for residential and light commercial properties. All inspections are visual only and based on the condition of accessible areas at the time of inspection.

We do not undertake destructive testing or move furnishings, floor coverings, or stored items. Our reports are based on Australian Standards relevant to the type of inspection.

 

3. Bookings and Payment

  • Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or email.

  • Full payment is required before the report undertaken will be released

  • Prices are subject to change without notice but will be confirmed upon booking.

  • Inspection dates are subject to availability and weather or access conditions.

 

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule your inspection with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.

  • If our inspector is denied access on the agreed date/time, a reinspection fee may apply.

 

5. Limitations of Reports

Our inspection reports are for the use of the client named in the report only. Reports are valid at the time of inspection and should not be relied on after material changes to the property. We do not guarantee the condition of areas not visible or inaccessible during the inspection. Our inspections do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or insurance policy against future defects. Our liability is limited under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and to the extent permitted by law.

 

6. Use of Reports

Our reports are provided for the exclusive use of the named client. Reports may not be altered, copied, or misrepresented. While reports may be shared with relevant third parties (such as solicitors, agents, or insurers), Altitude Inspections is not liable for any decision made by a third party relying on the report.

 

7. Website Use

By accessing our website, you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. All content (text, images, branding) is owned by Altitude Inspections and cannot be reused without written consent.

 

8. Privacy

We collect and store your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to this.

 

9. Disclaimers

We take care to ensure our services are professional and reliable. However, to the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied) related to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of our services or website content.

 

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
